SUBTLE FRAGMENTS
―――― Capture the ambiguity. Plants, rocks, and fruits teach me charm. We feel the charm in the fuzzy boundaries created by blending ambiguous colors and shapes. The way we see it is completely different depending on the time of day, the light, and even in other countries and regions; if we try to capture in words the emotion of these colors and shapes that we are just now seeing, the essence of it may easily fly away. The memory grows more abstract, and like a color field painting, it grows fuzzy, without focus or boundaries. We carefully scoop out the subtleties of this dreaminess and add charm.
―――― 曖昧さを捉える。植物に、岩に、フルーツに色気を教えてもらう。曖昧な色と形が混ざり合うことで生まれる、微かな境界線に色気を感じる。時間帯や光で、国や地域によっても全く見え方は違う｡たった今見えているこの色や形の感動を言葉に捉えようとすると、そのエッセンスは簡単に飛んでしまうかもしれない。 記憶は抽象度が増して、カラーフィールド・ペインティングのように焦点も境界線もない、曖昧な状態に成長する。その夢想のような微かな機微を丁寧にすくいとり、色気を入れていく。
