CHIC WITH SARCASM
IRENISA starts with its 20/21FW collection. Inspired by sarcastic and paradoxical subtleties, as it betrays traditional ideas behind clothing with a playfulness unbound by traditional concepts. New garments combining craftsmanship with three-dimensional design while remaining familiar to the basics, thus incorporating the opportunity of transforming the appearance of what is ordinary. The underlying proposal being clothes that can last a long time although being somewhat unfinished in their completion.

既成概念に捉われない遊び心で、衣服の概念を裏切る。モードの基本を熟知した立体的なデザインに、クラフツマンシップを融合させた新しい衣服。そこに、常識の見え方が変わるきっかけを組み込む。本当に永く付き合える衣服とは何か。未完成の完成とは何かを提案する。
IRENISA DESIGNERS
Before establishing IRENISA in 2020 as a Tokyo-based design duo, Yu Kobayashi served as an experienced patternmaker at Yohji Yamamoto while Yuji Abe worked on planning, design, and production development for Support Surface.
小林 祐はyohji yamamotoでパターンの経験を積む。安倍 悠治はSUPPORT SURFACEにて企画・生産・デザインを経験。2018年、東京を拠点に活動するデザイナーデュオとしてdo-si LLC設立。2020FW、”IRENISA” [イレニサ] を立ち上げる。
